My working hours are 9am til 5pm Monday - Friday so any queries out of these hours may not be responded to until the next working day
Orders:
How do I order?
You can follow the various categories in the online shop to browse items and each listing will have all the information in the main description with how to order
You can also view the fabrics for collars, fleece items and woven waterproof patterened coats within the fabrics gallery
When will my order be ready?
For stock items I aim to post between 1-3 working days. Due to the Covid-19 situation there may be some delays on postage. Please read the Covid-19 updates here
The turnaround times for made to order items differs with the item. You can find the turnaround times within the individual product listing and they are also with the listing dropdown menus that you have to agree to before you can continue with your order. I am unable to rush through orders so please take the turnaround times into consideration before ordering
When I start making orders I will send out a processing email. You will then know that your order is being started and can expect a follow up email once it is ready/shipped
The turnaround times are how long it will be for the items ready for shipping. These do not include the delivery times
There may be occasions where there are delays to the stated turnaround times, for example nearing Christmas when order volume is increased. Please bear this in mind and please do not chase for updates on orders that are not overdue as this may cause delays
I haven't received an order confirmation email. Can you confirm my order has been received?
The website always sends out an automatic order confirmation email with every order that is received. The email will be sent to the email address that has been input when placing your order. Please check that you have entered your email address correctly. Mistakes can easily happen but the website will not flag if an incorrect email address has been entered.
If you do notice that you have entered the wrong email address then please drop me an email at [email protected] and I will update this on the order for you so you won't miss out on any further emails
If your email address is correct on the order then please check your spam folder as quite a lot the order confirmation emails sneak in there. Please add @izzyandfinns.co.uk to your email address list to make sure you don't miss out on important updates
I made a mistake on my order measurements, can I amend my order?
Please contact [email protected] as soon as possible if you need to amend your order in any way.
If your order is already in the processing stage then no amendments can be made
I haven't received my order?
Royal Mail Tracked 24 (UK) is usually next day but can take between 1-3 days. Royal Mail International Tracked is dependent on the destination country
Evri Tracked can take between 1-5 days
All items are sent on a tracked service and a tracking number is provided in your despatch email. Please check your spam email folder if you have not received a despatch email
If your item is showing as delivered but you have not received it, please check the surrounding areas to your property incase it has been left and check with neighbours
In the unlikely event that your item is lost I will have to raise a claim with the courier. Royal Mail state items cannot be claimed as lost until after 14 working days for Tracked 24 (UK) and 25 working days for International. Working days are only classed as Monday - Friday. If your item is not located within this time frame I will then be able to process a claim and resend or refund as required
Can you rush through orders quicker than the stated turnaround times?
I am sorry but due to my workload I am unable to prioritise or rush through orders so please take the turnaround times into consideration before placing your order. The turnaround times can be found in each individual item listing
My order consists of stock items and made to order items. Will the stock items be sent out first?
If an order consists of both stock items and made to order items then the whole order will be shipped together when the made to order items are completed.
If you require stock items sooner then please place a separate order for these items
Do you offer discounts for multiple orders?
I don't offer discounts on multiple orders however there are Brand Rep discount codes available to use which are shared regularly on social media
Occasionally special offers will be posted in the Izzy & Finn's mailing list so be sure to subcribe to that for updates
Do you take wholesale orders?
I'm sorry but due to my current workload I am no longer taking on any new wholesale orders
Do you have any ready made coats or jammies in stock?
All the coats and jammies are made to order and I do not hold stock of these.
In the event any stock of these items becomes available then it will be listed in the Ready to Wear section on the website
Do you make collars and coats for other breeds of dog?
Collars can be made for most breeds of dogs. The smallest width of collar is 1" so please bear that in mind when ordering
Coats are specifially for sighthounds. I have had customers purchase whippet coats for other breeds such as cockerpoos but I cannot guarantee that these will be a perfect fit for dogs other than sighthounds
Fabric & Product Information:
What is the difference between a house collar and a martingale collar?
A house collar is a single loop collar that is slipped over your dog's head and adjusted to fit. A house collar can be worn at all times with your dog's ID tags but is not recommended to be used as walking out collar
A martingale collar is a specially designed walking collar made with two loops. The back loop goes over the dog's head and is adjusted to fit, the front loop has the D ring for attaching a lead and will gently tighten if your dog pulls.

What is the difference between a full martingale collar and a half martingale collar?
The difference between the full martingale collar and the half martingale is the width of the front loop. The front loop of the full martingale is the same width as the back loop of the collar whereas with the half martingale the front loop is a thinner width than the back loop of the collar
Functionality wise there is no difference but if your dog wears both a house collar and a martingale collar when on walks you may prefer to opt for the half martingale style to reduce the bulk around the neck
The half martingales are made with a velvet covered front loop to match the colour of the lining of the collar and the full martingales are made with the same patterned fabric on the front loop as the rest of the collar

How can I see the fabrics available?
Most of the fabrics can be found within the Fabric Gallery pages. If the fabric is not in there then it will be within the main description or photos on the product listing
All the other fabrics can be found within the individual product listing images. I'm sorry but due to the sheer volume of fabrics I am unable to send individual photos of different fabrics out and everything can be viewed on the website
Can you send further pictures of the different fabrics?
All the pictures of fabrics can be found either in the galleries or in the individual items listings.
These pictures are as accurate a representation as possible taking into consideration that colours can appear differently on different screens.
I cannot provide any further pictures of fabrics as not all fabrics are held in stock and due to my workload it takes too much time out of my day to assist with further pictures
If you wish to see the fabrics against a contrasting colour or lining then I suggest taking a screenshot of the fabric and using an app such as photo grid for a side by side comparison. I cannot provide this for you
Will the colours of the fabrics in the gallery be an exact representation to real life?
Actual colours may vary. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently. For further information please refer to the colour disclaimer here

How do I measure for coats, jammies and collars?

Please ensure your measure your dog and not an existing garment
I made a mistake on my order measurements, can I amend my order?

Can you add a harness hole in the coat? Can the position of the hole be changed?
Yes, I can add a harness hole in the coats. You will need to measure as per the diagram in the listing to find the measurement for your hole and add this to the dropdown box in the coat listing when placing your order. The harness holes are made to run vertically along the back seam of the coat only.
If you are ordering a snood neck coat and would prefer a hole to be made in the neck rather than in the back seam of the coat then you can add a comment to state 'neck hole for collar' in the harness hole box instead
How do I adjust my collar?
When the collars are brand new they may be stiff at first but will loosen up slightly with wear and washing
It is always best to adjust the collar by pushing the top layer of fabric through the metal slider than to pull the slider across all the layers of fabric. This is gentler on the collar and will help it stay in pristine condition for longer

How do I fit a martingale collar?
It is important that a martingale collar is fitted correctly to ensure that your dog is safe and secure
With every collar order there is a diagram on the back of the collar care card which shows how to safely fit a martingale collar. You can also find the information here
How do I wash my item?
A care card is sent out with every order but you can also view the care and washing instructions here
Shipping:
What postage options do you offer?
There are 3 shipping options to choose from for UK orders:
Royal Mail Tracked
Evri Tracked
Other Courier (eg DPD, DHL, FedEx)
The shipping costs vary with what is ordered depending on size/weight etc but the website will automatically calculate the shipping costs for you at the checkout
Do you ship worldwide?
As of 13th December 2025 I am no longer able to ship to countries within the EU and Northern Ireland due to the updates to the new GSPR regulations
Shipping is still available to USA, Canada, Australia & New Zealand
Please be aware that overseas orders may be subject to customs charges and are the responsibilty of the customer to pay
There may also be delays within shipping overseas due to customs that are out of my control. Overseas orders are sent via a fully tracked service and the tracking number is sent in the shipping email so you are able to track your item at all times.
Will I have to pay any other customs charges on overseas orders?
Please be aware that overseas orders may be subject to customs charges and are the responsibilty of the customer to pay.
Due to the new Brexit regulations this now applies to all European destinations too (please note that as of 13/12/24 EU & Northern Ireland orders have been suspended due to the new GSPR legislation)
How long does shipping take?
Royal Mail & Evri services are usually 2-4 working days. You will be sent a tracking number via email once the goods are shipped so you can track your delivery's progress
Overseas orders. may take longer but are also sent via a fully tracked service with a tracking number provided
What happens if I am not in to accept delivery?
It is advisable to have your delivery sent to an address where someone will be present. The delivery address can be amended in the shipping section on the website
Royal Mail & Evri may leave your items in a safe place or with a neighbour. Delivery instructions left at the checkout will be added when shipping but it cannot be guaranteed that the delivery driver will always adhere to these. Delivery drivers do not have the facility available to call the receiver
If your order is unable to be delivered or left in a safe place or with a neighbour you should receive a card from the delivery company to rearrange or collect. Full tracking details are always provided so you can track your order and contact the delivery company if needed
If the order is deemed to undeliverable it may be returned back to me. In this instance the goods can be resent out at the customer's cost. If a refund* for the order is requested then it will not include the original delivery charges
*please note that bespoke made to order items cannot be refunded
Modifications:
Can you modify an order that I have already received? Eg - Add a zip to the back?
I am sorry but orders that have already been made cannot be modified
I do offer a zip back add-on for certain items but that needs to be ordered alongside the garment at the time of the order being placed.
Please refer to the zip add-on listing description for further details on what garments this can be added to
Someone else has made modifications to my order and now it is damaged/lost. Can you send me a free replacement or a discount on a free replacement?
I can not be held accountable for any damage or loss of items due to modifications made by a third party and would not offer a free or discounted replacement on any item that has been modified. Any modifations made to your existing garments by a third party are at your own risk.
There is an option to sign up for the Izzy & Finn's newsletter at the bottom of the website where you will be sent a welcome discount code for your next order which can be used if you require a discount

Returns:
My item doesnt fit. Can I return it?
I'm sorry but due to the bespoke nature of these items I do not offer returns on made to order goods. This is also stated within the terms & conditions on the website.
All collars and coats are made to the exact measurements provided on your order so it is the buyers responsibilty to double check these measruements prior to ordering
I run an Izzy & Finn's Buy & Sell page on Facebook and you are more than welcome to re-sell your Izzy & Finn's merchandise on there. This page is only for the resale of Izzy & Finn's items and not a general selling page
If I order the wrong size can I return it?
I'm sorry but due to the bespoke nature of these items I do not offer returns on made to order goods. This is also stated within the terms & conditions on the website.

I missed out on a Discount Offer, could you apply it to my order?
Sorry that you missed out on the discount offer. These have set expiry dates and cannot be backdated to orders placed prior to the discount or after the discount has expired
If you have signed up to the newsletter then you would be able to use the welcome discount code on your next order. As a newsletter subscriber you would also be sent email notifications of any discounts being run on the website too
Do you offer discounts for multiple orders?
There may be discount offers from time to time on certain products but I do not offer discounts for multiple orders as standard
There are codes that can be used for discounts from the Brand Reps. Take a look at the social media posts for updates about these
Are you able to donate an item to our auction/charity?
I am sorry but due to the sheer volume of donation requests I receive I have made the decision to support a selection of designated rescues/charities with specific collars and items made to raise funds for these on the website
